Mathias Mäurer is a Professor of Neurology at the University of Würzburg, Germany. He is currently the Head of the Department of Neurology and Neuro Intensive Care, Klinikum Würzburg Mitte, Würzburg.
After finishing medical school in 1994, Dr. Mäurer trained at the Department of Neurology at the Würzburg University Hospital and went on to complete a post-doctorate fellowship in developmental neurobiology.
In 2006, Mathias Mäurer took a position as Head of the Clinical Research Group for Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology in the Department of Neurology at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany. In 2012, he also completed a Master’s degree in Health Business Administration.
Dr. Mäurer has both authored and co-authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals on multiple sclerosis and neurology.
