Prof. Letizia Leocani, after the medical degree at the State University of Milan, took a PhD degree in Human Physiology and specialized in Neurology at the same University. She is currently Associate Professor of Neurology at Vita-Salute University of Milan and Senior Researcher at the INSPE-Institute of Experimental Neurology, Scientific Institute Hospital San Raffaele, Milan, where she is Group Leader of the Experimental Neurophysiology Unit and Supervisor of the MAGICS Magnetic IntraCerebral Stimulation Center for the experimental treatment of neurological disorders. She is also non-tenuered Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, San Raffaele University, Milan. She has been Research Fellow at the Human Motor Control Section of the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda-USA. She has been responsible of the High Resolution EEG laboratory in the Clinical Neurophysiology Department (since 2000) and of the Psychophysiology research Unit of the Neuroscience Dep.t (since 2006). She was principal investigator of the Telethon Service for Experimental Neurophysiology (2010-2011). She attended as speaker at several national and international congresses and had Institutional Nominations as: Secretary of the Italian Society of Psychophysiology (SIPF) (2002-2006), Board Member of the Italian Society of Clinical Neurophysiology (SINC) (2002-2006), Foreign Delegate for Italian Society of Clinical Neurophysiology (SINC) (2006-2008, 2011- 2013), Secretary of the Italian Society of Clinical Neurophysiology (SINC) (since 2014).
